Book covers Finished 3 UFOs today, just had to sew the embroidered pieces into book covers. #1 is machine appliqued; #2 I digitised the shape and let the embroidery machine do the work; #3 I attached parts of a deconstructed silk flower an
Sweater for Ruth. Got my knitting needles out and some left-over balls of yarn.
Ragdoll for 4x4 hoop. There was a request for a doll to be made in a 4x4 inch hoop. It takes 4 hoopings and quite a bit of hand stitching to get it together. Making it smaller would make turning the limbs almost impossible.
ITH keyfob. When I saw Bonnetgirl's ITH project I decided to make one for myself too. It sewed out nicely and just holds my phone as well, but next time I'll make them just a bit larger.
Hooded towel. As a present to a friend my daughter "ordered" a hooded towel with a design from the birth announcement. Did not have a blue one, so I did the name in blue on the hood.
Skirt for my granddaughter. Bought skirt, embroidered with the "singing tulips" characters from a well-known series of books in the Netherlands. Ruth will be going to a matinee on those books on Boxing Day and my daughter wanted some embroidery that

Pincushion Before stitching my design on a quilt I tested it. I altered the outer line in a satin stitch, and made a pincushion.I had changed the sewing order so the inner line was stitched after the outer, giving a sort of ruffle along the sides.
Christmas cards. These are embroidered on cotton, and with the use of double sided sticky stuff (here sold as Aslan) put on the card. The design on the left is one this site, the one on the left my design in 4x4 size.
Poinsettia. I made this corner design for a 5x7 hoop to use on a table runner and uploaded it for everyone interested in YouEmbroidery.
Christmas cards Here are afew of the cards I made.
Christmas card. Size of the design is 90 x 83 mm. Problem with this size is the shape of the eyes, they are more like diamonds than ovals. The gold metallic looks better in reality than on the picture.
