Another one from Kreative Kiwi, done on the 5x7 hoop
This design is from Kreative Kiwi, it is one of her large appliqués, and a pleasure to make
I gave this one to my cousin who wanted it for his wife, but he insisted on giving me something for it because he knew how much work went into it. So I am now the proud owner of one of those mini irons, the sort you can use inside the hoop!
Birthday card using the same fsl flowers that I put on the hoop.
Made quite a few of these, in six inch hoops, but told that they are 'old fashioned' and won't sell!!
Made for a friend, lots of stitches, but a pleasure to embroider !
OK! You've seen the three cot quilts I've made recently, here's the double size I made a year ago! Looks complicated, but it was the easiest one I made, and it now belongs to a very good friend of mine!
I think I've got it at last !! I didn't use any adhesive backing, hooped the fabric and cut away stabiliser together, floated another piece of tear away underneath, and although I can see a tiny pucker, I've decided that a blind man would love to see i
A cot quilt I've made recently, one of three, but I want to do some embroidery on plain squares, instead of buying printed fabric, but I am having problems with applique, puckering on the base fabric, and this will not do for me !!
The design is from Kara Kreations, 42,732 stitches, 124 minutes. I used faux suede, and will turn it into a cushion
My fifth, and definitely my last, quilt ! Draped over the sofa, because it's too much for me to hold up!
I used denim to stitch this one on, it took seven hours to stitch ! For Mary 51 to have a look at!
The fourth one, think I will have a rest now !!
My third one. Got a couple of puckers each end of the skirt, but after 152 minutes, I won't lose any sleep over that !!
What I did today! 125 minutes stitching, 42,487 stitches, 27 colour changes ! Talk about jump in at the deep end !!
