I'm still on the search for just the right gift topper. Found these snowflakes that actually have little button holes to put ribbon through. I think a few rhinestones and maybe something special tied in the center would finish this snowflake. I'm trying
Seeing Basketcase's sharks reminded me of this mug rug of mine that I made a while back. Now, I want to do a new with one of her sharks! We rarely had sharks along the coast here in Southern California, but they have migrated south and are a new problem
I wanted to make something other than ribbon bows for package toppers. I got this design from EL, but did not make it just like the directions. I made only 3 layers instead of 4, and used gold beads for the center. I glued it together instead of stitching
Honestly, seems like it never rains but it pours! True of the weather where I live and my life! I think that sometimes we all take on more and more things and pretty soon we get worn out and need a break. Of course, getting a new puppy certainly complica
Last week was the conference for Gynecological Cancer Survivors that I'm a vendor for. I make a wine basket for their raffle and donate all the money I take in. I just do mug rugs. Interestingly, the Latte one was popular, but not the Fridge one.
This is a set of napkins that I donated as a door prize. I love this design and had to use it on something.I might make a set for myself! It's an Embroidery Library design.
I did this sweatshirt for the gal who runs the "Zoom Room." That's a place for dog training. I can rent a "gym" there to train my dog in dog agility. She's really a hard worker and does not have much money. I just wanted her to know that I appreciat
This is the design I was searching for that I finally found in my own stash and made into a mug rug. I love the words on the second one, and for the life of me, I can't remember where I got that one either. I haven't washed the stabilizer away yet. Old
It was cold and rainy outside so I decided to do a sweatshirt. Reminds me of the snowy woods and how the snow would sparkle where I grew up.
Another mug rug design. I got it on Embrodery Home website. I sure can related to it!
I loved Basketcase's cat spring design, and with her permission to edit it a little for a mug rug. People have been asking for cat mug rugs as I have a lot of dogs, so I was excited to add this one. Thanks, Vicki!
This is a wall hanging. I don't know how to get it right side up. Probably the way I took the photo. I found this design in an old folder from when I didn't keep track of where I got them very well, and I think it's one of Vicki's? It was a design cre
Mea Culpa! I had the two photos side by side and posted the wrong one. The front looks exactly like what I posted below. Here's the back so you know that I really did stitch this design out! My apologies for all the problems I caused everyone. And
I started on my "Read me a story..." book pillow" and can't decide which pillow side I want it on...like, there are only 2 sides, so maybe I should toss a coin! It's on white fabric which doesn't show up in the photo.
This is an Octopus that I did on the back of a jacket that was quite dense. In spite of my efforts, it turned out rather stiff. So I starched the fabric around it to help support it and keep it flat. It's an Embroidery Library design.
