I have a problem stitching out a basting outline. In one spot of the outline, my thread always jams up, shreads, or breaks. I've looked at the stitches in my software and can not see anything wrong with them. I have no other problem stitching designs out

Does anyone know if vilene is toxic for dogs? My puppy seems to have found some and chewed on it. Don't think he actually ate much. I always have considered it to be a starch, but really don't know if there are chemicals in it.

How do you tell the weight of thread? Seams like I look for the weight of some threads and it must be hidden in code...or perhaps I need a magnifing glass? Is higher the weight the thinner the thread? Does it change between mfgs?

Does anyone know if it is ok to leave in tearaway stabilizer in a project? I grabbed the wrong stabilizer. I thought I had used a cutaway, but it is actually a tearaway. Have no clue if this will cause problems or not.
