I always have trouble choosing the right color thread for peoples' skin. Either the color I use is too dark, too light, or not even near any skin color I've ever seen! I'd appreciate knowing what brand/color thread you use for this.

I've been thinking about making some pencil toppers for my friend. The directions I have for some of the designs I've collected call for stitching them on using stabilizer. The way the directions read, the stabilizer would stay inside the pencil topper.

Does anyone have any tips for keeping FSL flat when it dries? I don't know what causes it to curl to the embroidery thread and not the bobbin thread. I wouldn't think that poly would shrink. When I steam it flat with my iron, the threads look flatten in
