Another afternoon @ the Brain Injury Association & today we had a fun day making fondant Easter Eggs. Dear Hubby can't wait to eat it! I used to do cakes some time ago so alot of that came back to me, but I squished the sides bringing it home sigh.......
Well not exactly what I had in mind but I think this Easter place~mat for Miss Ava turned out rather cute. Lots of trial & error here. I think next time I should pay attention to the direction when I sew it on the sides so they are both the same direction
I went to Brain Injury again & this is what we made this time. Sterling Silver hooks & porcelain beads & bunnies. They are so cute. I have learned quite a bit from making this pair & I think I could do it again with the right tools. I couldn't get close
I was inspired by Monika (aussiequilter) to do something with my paper piecing blocks. I did cross hatch quilting & now all I have left to do is the binding. Another UFO finished, yeh! These blocks have been done for ages & I knew that I wanted it to be
