Oh what a horrible stressful few weeks I have had my DH has had his long awaited open heart operation but he had a bad reaction to the anaesthetic it felt as if I was living at the hospital, he is now back home and things are getting back to normal slowly
Life has just got in the way of my sewing so have not done as much as I would have liked so this is how far my quilt is. Have estimated that I would need approximately 30 more blocks oh boy I have really done it this time I hope it does not get too heavy
Hi everyone, it's been a while. Everyone has been in prayers and thoughts. Hope all are well. Here is just some of the things I've been up too. Thanks for peeking.
I have been playing this week and this is what I have done tall santa, angels and gnomes all done with the same pattern only adjusted top or bottom depending on what I wanted to achieve all triangle shape with rounded bottom. Short santa made from log cab
My 'sawdust maker' made us a napkin holder...the napkins are all fat quarters, cut to 18 inches. (Do I get points for loosing weight???? :-P)
Here are some of the things I like to try my hand at. Also wanted to see if these worked. 1) the first two are hand embroidery handkerchief baby bonnets, given to boy or girl at birth. At their marriages the daughter or future DIL can snip the stitches
cape and hat I sis this the other night thought it was so pretty I should have put it on a doll was just to tired to do so
