Made this book bag for my sister. I quilted the background fabric then embroidered the applique owl, from Designs byJuju, on it. It has a tape measure snap type closure at the top. My biggest challenge was to make it with no raw edges. It is fully lined.

This little owl is another of the patterns I picked up while vacationing in NY. He is from Susiecshore.com He is a pincushion only about 3 inches tall. I really had expected him to be bigger. But I think he is cute with his yo-yo eyes. hugs, Susan

I used the FSL Frog from DBC and put him in a bubble. Actually it's a clear glass ornament. I found the leaf stand at a flea market. Makes a rather unique piece I think. Susan

Made these flowers for my GDs. One loves pink the other purple. I only had pink and white petals so I took a purple fabric marker and colored the edges of the white petals. Then I sew a long string of petals on my sewing machine 20 -30 petals. Next I use

Found the pattern for this cute Scottie dog on the ALL Sorts web site and just couldn't resist making him. I used felt and stitched it all by hand. Something different. I plan on making a few more for Christmas gifts.
