I have so many sewing patterns, stored in totes, shelves, under the bed, and other secret places. I would like to know how to file them. How do you file sewing patterns? Do you file under company name and number? Or by style, Tops, skirts, pants etc?

Why is it when I download the same design in either Hus, Jef, or Vp3 the tread chart changes for each format? Which format should I choose to be closest to the picture of the design colors? Also the name brand of the thread changes for the different form
