Attention all in the UK. Lidl supermarkets have packs of 5 coordinating fat quarters for £2.99. Not fantastic but cheap enough to play with!
We had a very interesting discussion yesterday about which embroidery machine I should upgrade to. Thanks to all for sharing your thoughts. (See link if you missed the thread.) Quite a few of you recommended a multineedle machine, which I hadn't reall
With all of the different embroidery machines available, all offering different features, there must be a perfect match for every one of us. So, if I was planning to buy a new one, which should it be? I think you all know enough about my embroidery hab
Thoughts about Secret Santa. The Christmas swap was extremely successful - thanks to you all for helping to make it so. Just one gift is unaccounted for, but my best efforts have not been good enough to get in touch with joey who should have received i
I know some of you are interested in the customs from different parts of the world, so I thought you might like this one. Here in England we have Plough plays , performed on, or near to, Plough Monday. (The first Monday after Epiphany) These plays have be

How about a December challenge? I know you all have a big Christmas todo list, but how about incorporating one of the free seasonal designs that Veronika has given into a project? Don't forget to post a picture when it is finished!
I've had a housework day today, an irregular event, and when I was dusting my PC keyboard, I happened to notice that Embroidery Library had lots of designs for $1.25 each. Of course, a few of them found their way into my basket and thence into my PC, but
How are the Secret Santa gifts coming along? I think I've found the perfect design for mine - I must have been clairvoyant when I bought it! I've stitched it out this morning, but I don't have time to finish the gift as I am about to dress like a grown
