A new TV series started last night in UK. Eight people were put in a room with a huge and varied supply of fabric and notions, sewing machines and time. They had to make a simple skirt, alter the neckline on a blouse and make a dress to fit a real model.

My challenge to myself is to persuade those of you who have not yet taken the plunge to have a go at an ITH design. I've put a really simple purse in DBC with instructions. Excuses busted: Excuse #1 - "I'm afraid of the zip." There isn't one!

I feel the need to rant. I know a lot of people gain a huge amount of pleasure from Secret Santa exchanges and it is all worthwhile for them. However, a small minority are spoiling things by either not sending a gift, or not posting a picture of the gift
