More Christmas cards. The outer two are my own cross stitch doodles. I think the centre one is a Katulle design. I've fixed the embroidery to the card with bondaweb.
Quilted toilet paper? I realised that 4x4 quilt blocks would fit perfectly (and quickly ) on toilet paper. This one is wrapped on cellophane ready for a craft fair.
Christmas Cards. I stitched these Christmas puddings on calico. Then I ironed bondaweb on the back. I removed the paper backing before cutting the designs out with pinking shears. Finally I ironed the embroideries onto the card blanks. (Using a pressing c
Gingerbread house - I've been working on this for at least a week, trying to get the embroidery to look like icing (slightly wobbly) and Dolly Mixtures (sweets from my childhood. Hoop you approve!
For the Christmas table. I caught a touch of coaster fever, but I realised my hexagonal version tessellated beautifully. (The sunbonnet designs are from Sick.) The wadding I used didn't really work with the lettering on the central piece so I turned it
Another wrap around purse - a snake was suggested so here he is! I've lined this one with the snakeskin print. The design is now up on Yoriko's site.

Country Cottage - made in sections ITH to fit 130mm x 180mm hoop. The design is now on Yorikp's site. I'm now working on a Gingerbread version ready for Christmas.
These zipped purses are pants! (My daughter used to use this expression for things she didn't like.) Designs are now on Yoriko's site in both 130mm x 180mm and 200mm square.
Brian the Dachshund (zipped purses.) Inspired by my Great Niece and Nephew's puppy. The designs are on Yoriko's site for 130mm x 180mm and 200mm square hoops. Fully lined with no raw edges inside, but two hoopings this time!
I treated myself to some designs from Urban Threads (just because I liked them!) So, I tried them out on some black linen for notebook covers. It is good to be back - this is my first embroidery for a month!
Here are two bags for the vegetarians.
This lovely print fabric came from a yard sale in Portland, Maine. My friend Jacqui had been shopping for me in Joann's and she added this to the haul. With the help of a plain black waist band and binding it was just enough to make a skirt with eight pa
A hat to go with the t-shirt I made yesterday. So difficult to take a picture of one's self!!
This t-shirt was a catalogue of disasters. I ended up doing most of it on my sewing machine! I may share the story in community when I've had a cup of tea and calmed down a bit.
