This is the latest bubble off my think tank. I don't know why I didn't think of it before. It is a good fit for a compact camera. Made in one hooping, fully lined with no raw edges inside. Really quick to make as well!
Experimental patchwork puppy. I'm not happy yet with his ears, but the alignment of the two halves was easy!
I think this one must be the grandmother of the first two. She is a green old hippy like me! I was so relieved when Toogie said she had had difficulty with the alignment of the two halves. I always thought it was only me! I've been persevering and, al
Oh dear, I think Ernie was a girl after all - he/she has had a baby overnight! I thought the pink one needed tusks (to look a bit more grown up) so I rolled felt triangles to make them. The baby is 4x4 but needs an extra hooping for the ears.
Patchwork ith purse. It was ages since I made one of these, but I didn't forget the open the zip! I did forget to put the interlining in the back, but I think I'll get away with it.
As yet un-named, this baby elephant is made in two hoopings. I'll put the design in DBC later when I've sorted the instructions.
Stack and whack bag. I've wanted to try stack and whack for ages and finally got round to it today. I started with six fat quarters and squared them off before cutting them into six pieces.
Wedding album for friends. The church on the cover is where the wedding will be. Margaret has been associated with the church for many years since her late husband was the vicar. They will be leaving the village after the wedding so I hope this will be a
Here are two more members of the Little Fat Owl Club. I'm particularly fond of the wizard.
My friend Jacqui is a singer who loves to crochet - she is also bringing me lots of fabric from Portland, Maine tomorrow. This bag is to say thank you! (My woodturner in residence made the handles for me. I think he will have to make more!)
Two new members of the Little Fat Owl Club. These designs are now available on Yoriko's site - and she has a membership sale at the moment!
A hat more suitable for a little boy. (No scallops!) Pam (justsew) very kindly tested this design for me and provided the picture. We all seem to have a teddy bear just the right size!
At last after much testing and faffing about, here is the final version of the babies sunhat that Rescuer showed you last week. The middle of the flower is big enough to add an initial. Now working on a unisex hat so boys aren't excluded!
I've made this poncho from the rainbow colours left over from a previous project. (Plus quite a lot more navy that I had to buy!) Even when the weather is good here in the UK it gets cold late in the evening and we go to quite a few outdoor events. I cro
Table cloth for an entomologist. I've always liked and respected insects as the most successful living things on the planet so I couldn't resist using the Miniature Menagerie designs from Urban Threads on a tablecloth. Very difficult to photograph so I
