Little felt ukuleles for my ukulele band members to wear in their hats. So much quieter than the real thing!
Espadrilles - third time lucky! I made the upper in the hoop (the embroidery design is from the Urban Threads mexican folkart set). It is then hand stitched to the rope soles. They fit me rather well.
Woo hoo - my pincushion has already arrived! I have opened it and can report that it is fabulous but I will not share a picture until 1st July. That should rattle up everyone else - mine is made but not yet packed up and posted. When yours
Pincushion query! Those of you on the left hand side of the Atlantic Ocean call what we on the right hand side call a cushion, a pillow. So, why don't you have pin pillows? I'm just going out now to avoid any flak!
A6 notebook cover - made in the hoop using fabrics from my music stash,
I've been fiddling with the engineering on the Cathedral Window style quilt block - hopefully to make it easier. Again I made it into a pincushion, but the second picture shows you just the finished block.
I wanted to see how this ITH quilt block would join up so I had to make enough to try.I think it has potential although the fabric I used for the central square should have been more robust. I obviously was't very careful to centre the design I used for

I have to share some pictures of birthday gifts my daughter brought me today. The little chest of drawers is decoupage and the tie dyed doily was an off white one from a jumble sale. The fabric wrapped parcel is two presents in one. It contained a pai
Evening bag. My big sister is going on a cruise and told me she was looking out for an evening bag. I knew I had black and purple satin so I doodled this design while I was away on holiday. I wanted a 3D applique flower and the purple satin screamed pansy
I took a few projects on holiday with me - 4 weeks is a long time to be idle! This jacket was well on the way to being finished when we left home. It began as a waistcoat, knitted in one piece. (A rectangle, knitted sideways with slits for armholes. The c
