Secret Sisters have had the information about who to send their gift to for a couple of days, so I know there will be much scratching of heads. Whether you are taking part or not, please fill this thread with gift suggestions which fit the criteria
I have just sent out the details of your secret sister. I am now very bleary eyed so I'm switching my computer off! Please let me know asap if I have made any blunders.
This is "Stripnflip Santa" - the latest addition to Engineered in Stitches. Thank you ethan for the inspiration! He is designed to hang, but I think I will make some without the ribbon to sit on bottles like this one is doing. He now has a little bro
Can someone explain BX fonts to me please? Are they just an alphabet which can be used from a keyboard, (ie one size) or are they are a word processable font? The interchangeable use of "alphabet" and "font" is so confusing!
Calling all secret sisters - please check your emails!
Lucy Locket won't lose this pocket in a hurry! I added the loops and D rings in the yoke seam when I made the skirt. The purse is an ITH quickie with the little lobster claw thingies added whilst making. It is a sort of girlie sporran!
A change from the quilt! I thought I had CD's out of my system some years ago but they have resurfaced! The design for the Christmas version is now available from Engineered in Stitches. The one on the left is made with die cut poinsettia bracts and t

My Green Man found a friend! The two sets of designs are now available from Engineered in Stitches. All made and assembled in the hoop.
Here are some pictures from my recent trip around a couple of folk festivals. I love to collect pictures of the Morris costumes - particularly when they are English Paper Pieced. The video is of Mike and I with a group of people we had been teaching ov
Fresh out of the hoop - this green man has been in my head for a couple of weeks while I have been away and has just seen the light of day for the first time. He is made in the hoop using felt (3 hoopings) and measures about 30 cm across. I plan to stretc
