I know i'm s'posed to be resting, i really wanted to finish my dh's gift. I am muddled perhaps, and was already having trouble, but not this much-- the thread is breakin every minute or 2!!!
Home from surgery, and it is a miracle-i am not in much pain as long as i dont use the hand. I have just had advil-pain meds are terrible for me--and i know i should hurt but i dont! dh says help

Metallic Thread looks lovely, but my 300e breaks it every 2 minutes:( i tried slowing it all the way down and using the schmetz needle for metallics (the ones for the 300e were breaking it too)

Embroidery shrinking! I embroidered are bear onto an old t-shirt, it looked great, UNTIL i washed it :( now the design itself seems to have shrunk, pulling the t-shirt in on intself. what cause
