Just been looking at a video on Adelaide Now. A friend who is a paraplegic has been surfing by being Duck-taped to a young man. I have done lots of sewing for Pascale because jackets have to be made wheel-chair length and trousers have to be modified. G

I am trying to make some applique type patches to go over an existing embroidery[to cover a previous company name on a shirt] I am getting a lot of 'pokies' when I use tearaway, but cutaway is too hard to get rid of!! Any advice out there in cute-land??

Answer for Oigelcox about unwanted phone call. In Aust. go to www.donotcall.gov.au or call 1300 792 958 and register. There is a similar one for UK called 'call prevention registry'. I'm not sure about other countries.

this tiny iron is used primarily for "lead light" patchwork. It works beautifully for these projects because you won't burn your fingers while ironing on the bias tape.
