Hi there Cuties! Did a little quick fix on my little boy's jeans :)

He tends to tear them from the knee and I literally have a few lined up to fix! This was my first fix using applique tools (he likes them) on a patch of similar denim material!
Not perfect but works for him and makes these wearable again or maybe tearable again for him...lol! :)

They look fabulous and you shouldn't worry about holes in the jeans - over here everyone wears jeans with tears in them. I love the applique tools Fatima, they look great. Love Chris

Chris has hit the nail on the head (lol) many wear them with holes all through their jean legs & pay good money for them to be like that? Anyway this is a great solution & one I have done in the past too. I did them as soon as I brought them home from the store because I knew it was only a matter of time before the holes were there. This way there were the 2 layers of denim to strengthen the knees

Yes, I used to use the iron-on denim patches on the inside of the knees first thing, also on sweat pants, as I had a four year old who went through knees in about a week! His older brother almost never wore his knees out - so different.

Thanks a lot both :) I know kids are all different! My daughter has never done that to her jeans.....they are still so good when she outgrows them that I dont even feel like giving them away :)

This is a very cute way to patch! Love it!
Maybe you should have some patches done up ahead and when you do get new jeans for him, put one on right away! lol
