I use a tear- away stabilizer . The other side is non-skid : it does not appear in the photo, (forgot to photograph ) .

Fast....with my machine ( Singer Futura SES 2000), it takes about 1 hour per coaster. But I like making them too.

I use a frame found on sewforum, series "Summer coaster". I use this model for each coaster ; it has an edge that I love.
With Tear -away stabilizer or water soluble.
