Hi Cuties, My latest doily for a grand child, I don't know which one yet LOL. This is a fillet in the round doily with a symbol chart. I couldn't figure out the last row so did my own. The photo frame hold pictures of my grand children on their first birthdays. I bought it in a garage sale for $5.00, love it..... Thanks for looking

Very nice doily. I love the heart design. I think crocheted doilies are such a work of art and labor of love. I always feel so bad when I see one at a thrift store just being cast aside. People have no idea how long it takes to create one of these beauties. I think yours is lovely. I have never seen a pattern quite like this. Hugs, Susan

My grandmother had crocheted doilies all over her house, and I loved them. I became the keeper of some that my dad had saved after she is past. Some were left "in-progress", and still not yet finished. I don't have any of her patterns, as it was so very long ago when she made them. I just keep those in a container in my sewing room, and think of her each time I look at them.

Many thanks ladies, my evenings are spent watching tv but I just can not sit there so I crochet. The fillet in the round is actually pretty easy to do and much easier than normal designed doilies. This one had a rose in the place of the heart, I just adapted it. Again thanks for looking!!
