Heres what i been working on all week,as they dried i was doing other sewing***It is Battenberg fsl lace from Advanced embroidery#17188 called Victorian Coral Lace Border from years back on my old cds
I half to write something to do with a 50th wedding ann. on it yet .Any ideas???

I was given this thread as a c/mas gift from a store called fabric land like Joannes in the States .It is $11.49 a wee spool .Thanks

wow this is lovely. you could put 2 gold bands as 50th is gold maybe the names the date then the bands? Either way they are going to cherish it. ~hugs~

Looks great. The variegated thread looks really nice for the lace border. I made a 50th Anniversary wall hanging a few years ago and just used the words "Happy 50th Anniversary" and added their first names surrounding a centered design. Whatever you decide to will look wobderful, I'm sure.

Carolyn, that is gorgeous. Love the variegated thread. You could put the date, month and day and years,1965 and 2015. What ever you embroider on it, it will be a treasured gift to them.
