Edited May 28th-Naturally, they make you fast after midnight for the test.They put 2ozs of barium then 6 ozs water. Never refluxed when they looked, nor could they see the hiatial hernia. The tech said if she would have had reflux at the time of the test, the hernia would have been seen..... If she could have had her night feeds or took the test during the day, a few hours after eating, I just don't know....Thank you all for your comments. I am too tired to stay online and answer each personally but know this. I do appreciate all the love, prayers and support for my baby girl. I kept her and her older brother today.Thank goodness Nora goes to the sitter most days......May 27-Update on Avery-She saw the surgeon yesterday and he wants to do another barium test in the morning, to see exactly what is going on. She then will go back to him the 9th, to hear results and plan...so we still wait.... I kept her today, and she was able to digest 2 whole cans of Ensure, all day. Not a lot, but better than none.
