please help i am asking for prayers for Debbie and our baby sweetpea , she has made it to 25 weeks and is now very unwell ,her feet are very swollen and she has a very bad headache , she will go to see the cardiologist tomorrow and he may admit her to hospital ,they have had some hard time lately they had their car smashed into during the night and the culprit didn't stop <br /><br /><br />
or leave a note , they just can not afford for her to be off work right now<br <br /><br />

so the update is the dr wanted her give up work now , but she said she can not ,right now as they have to pay for the car to be repaired, so they have come to a compromise ,she is to have 2 one our naps at work with her feet up , and she will also have weekly visits to the cardiologist, if she gets any worse she is to call an ambulance straight away ,and just to let you know when she got to her appointment today her blood pressure was normal praise GOD<br /><br /><br />

blood pressure not so good again ,Dr has put her on a 5th tablet ,daily after this its off to hospital , but he says the baby is doing well, just need to get through at least another 4 weeks for now<br /><br /><br />
7 th June , today is another good day , we went to Church and she is going to spend the rest of the day in bed ,we have a long weekend this weekend so she only has a 3 day week this week , Friday she goes to see the Cardiologist and her Obstetrician plus a few tests. many thanks to all for your prayers<br /><br <br /><br />
17th June ,to has been a good day , Debbie will see both Dr's on Friday , and find out the results of the tests she had last week .<br /><br />

Update June 20 th<br /><br />
Debbie went to her dr yesterday , he is so happy with the result of her test she now only has go back 3 weekly , baby it apparently 2lb 9 ozs , and in fantastic health,her sugar test was more than perfect over 200 is gestational diabetes her number was 70 ,,,, I know this is all because the power of prayer , Thank you all so much .
29 weeks yesterday and all is going well right now Thank you to all who have been praying for our little miracle
its now almost 30 weeks and Debbie and baby are doing well , baby is getting bigger and very active

Monika, I surely will pray for Debbie and your sweetpea. She still has a bit to go. I hope that the doctors can get her blood pressure under control and get the swelling down. Had Debbie gone on a salt restricted diet? It may help.

Prayers are being said world wide for Debbie and tiny sweet pea. Hoping that she can keep the symptoms from spiking back up again. Every day from now, to when the baby will be born, is huge in the babies development. It is a difficult journey when little ones are born in the 24th-26th weeks, but every single day the baby remains in the womb, the growth and chance of survival increases greatly. Praying that she can keep the symptoms from effecting the baby and that her work will be willing to help her work around her bodies limitations so she can continue to work. TED hose or compression hose may also help to keep her legs from swelling, too much and besides the low salt diet, sometimes cutting out caffeine may also help to reduce head pressure, especially if laying flat tends to increase the head pain that she is having. She may also benefit from sleeping in a recliner with the legs also elevated. The key is to try to keep the head above the heart and keeping her legs elevated as much as she is able. Thank you ,and yes she is doing all you have suggested , the compression stocking too ,at this time the dr is just try to get her to 30 weeks , and then each day after that will be a bonus she will rest as much as she can ,lucky her boss( a dentist) is her Obstetricians brother and they treat her as one of the family , she has been going to him for 17 years now so he knows Deb very well , he has been through this journey with her .he was told her last October she would probably never have children , so here we are now at 25 weeks , this is the most precious baby ,but being an older mum is proving a bit difficult right now ,I know there are many prayers for them both , and God is in control

Dear Monika, I do pray that Debbie's newest results will level out her blood pressure. Prayers have been said for her and 'sweetpea'. One of Amy's friends had a baby at 26 weeks and he is now a healthy 5 year old! Medical procedures have come so far. Prayers for you too to be a calming influence in their lives. great news today ,Debbie had her 28 week scan baby is doing well ,about 2 lb 9 ozs this week ,very active and good strong hear beat , it is in breech right now but he is hoping that will change in the next few weeks ,the dr is now hoping she will make it to 35 weeks ,her blood pressure was good as well ,Thank you all so much for your prayers

If I figured the timing from the posts correctly, she is at the 28th week gestation now, full term being 40 weeks, so doctor only wanting to see her back in the office every 3 weeks is a fantastic improvement!
