For today.- 10 turbans I have made today for the Cancer Center. Just 1 of the projects my Homemakers Club helps with. I cannot go and do a lot of what the others do so I sew when I can to help. They are all made from 2 way stretch knit fabric like Tee shirt fabric, and it was all donated to me by my daughter. Had to stop and take a break so thought I would show to you while I was resting a min. The pattern comes from the Internet, free. I used my sewing machine, too difficult to get my Serger out right now. There are 3 pieces the body, the band and the tab.. You use pin tucks to help shape it/Lillian

This is so sweet of you and your daughter, especially you, with all you have to do already. Your daughter chose well, I like the pink and brown swirls. I know these were made from the heart and others will appreciate the need for them. Bless you both-Toogie

Miss Lillian, you have made me smile. I remember my sweet mother wearing one of these when she lost her hair from chemo. She looked so very cute! Thank you for doing these. I know the recipient will be so grateful to have something soft against their sensitive skin, and she won't know why but it will make her happy to have it on. I know why, it has love stitched up in it.

They are beautiful, and so practical. I am sure the patients appreciate having these lovely head covers, and all your hard work in making them. You are an angel.
