HI CUTIES,
I had a wonderful time visiting Lorraine (lolly3) in Adelaide. We met here on Cute and I wrote to her letting her know that I was coming to Adelaide and she and her husband Keith graciously invited Trev and I to their beautiful home.
Look at what she made me! I felt so lucky to receive all of these beautiful gifts. All I made her was an Owl Tea towel and I bought her two bunches of Cream and off White Lisianthus flowers.
We arrived about 3.00 on Tuesday afternoon and left about 5.00pm. Thank you so much Lorraine and Keith for your generous hospitality and warm welcome. Your home is absolutely stunning and I loved it.
I've missed being on here for hours every night - I just had time to post answers on the projects. I've put up the pictures of the gifts and Lorraine and I. Love Chris
1. Gifts from Lorraine included - a bag she designed made herself, 2 lizards in beads made by Keith. Two tissue pack holders, 2 pin cushions, 2 ring pin cushions, a pair of bedsocks and a bag to put them in, a pair of hand warmers and a Dream catcher.
2. Lorraine and me in her kitchen.
3. Owl Tea towel - this owl took over 3 hours to stitch out!!!! I last did this design over 2 years ago. It has over 70,000 stitches in it (the one I did 2 years ago was in blues etc.)

Lovely pictures Chris. Its lovely to see you back and good to hear that you met someone else from here on your travels. You have received some great gifts but the tea towel you made is great too. I remember the blue one you did before. Its a UT design? A super picture of you and Lorraine

Great photo of you two 'Cuties', in every sense of the word! Love all the gifts,too! I could use the hand warmers but what is the blue square with the white flower in center? So glad you have a wonderful, if not short, visit.-Toogie...ps.lolly3 needs to show us some of these items in Projects!!! (if she already has,I must have missed them)

Chris I finally got a chance now after a very busy day with kids to say how pretty you look in this pic :) and also that this is the most beautiful owl I have ever seen! You have made it so pretty with so many unusual colours....awesome!

Thanks Fatima, yes, the colours were selected for her home. Lorraine loves the Autumn colours and so I just changed every colour to one that she told me were in her colour scheme. Her home is absolutely stunning I might add. Lots and lots of rooms and beautiful slate flooring. Her sewing room(s) are to die for as well. Trevor and I both were so thrilled to be able to meet with them. We had an awesome day visiting lots of friends and family. Love Chris

Hi Chris, I am overwhelmed at all the lovely comments, thankyou so much for showing the gifts that Keith & I gave you. Yes it was a lovely afternoon we all had.
