I have just received word that my cousin who is 27 years old, dove into his swimming pool last night and broke his neck. He had 3 broken vertebrae and has had surgery today. The surgeons put 2 rods and 5 screw in his neck. I am told that he is in extreme pain. I would ask that you specifically pray that he is not paralyzed and that he knows with certainty that it was God that healed him.<br /><br />

Wednesday, June 10: Update from the Mom. . .<br /><br />
Tomorrow will mark one week that we have been at the rehab Center. It is truly an amazing place where incredible progress can be made if you work hard.<br /><br />
William has worked very hard and the results are in. Yesterday he walked 15 feet using the parallel bars. Today he walked 3/4 mile in a harness.<br /><br />
He was able to eat lunch on his own sitting up, make phone calls and has shifted from a motorized wheelchair to a manual one. WOW - all your prayers and mine have been answered so please keep them coming.<br /><br />
We had our medical conference yesterday and the staff here is very pleased with William's progress, as are we. They predict he will be here one month. Specific goals that we have set now seem to be in the realm of possibility. We are thrilled! Soon,. he will be able to get a "Day Pass" and leave the Center for day trips. . .how awesome that will be! You know he is wanting to see the players and get back in the gym with them.<br /><br />
He said farewell to Warner (his brother who lives in Alaska) but thankfully has Whitney (other brother) close by. <br /><br />
Watching he and Coach Saban ( the current head football coach of the University of Alabama) chat it up last night was fun and exciting - talking Coach to Coach.<br /><br />
