A fun day @ the gardening workshop for the Brain Injury. We painted gold balls & turned them into ladybugs for the garden. Mine still need black dots for the eyes but the white is still a wee bit wet. I was tired & needed to get home so I will dot them tomorrow. I love the wee hedgehog & am going to call her Hettie she is a planter with Pink Cheddar in her. I know that the plant is purple not Pink but that's the name of the plant? She is made with a Coka Cola pop bottle & she is Bling-ed up with details lol I had so much fun making this into a girl hedgehog....she has the bow of course & earrings & a wee heart on her cheek that's her mole lol I added a mouth & some eye lashes & coloured her nose so it would not be red. I even added a heart tail lol. I wish I could have taken a pic of all of them, they were so cute & all different too! One lady did hers into a man with a mustache & a bow tie so cute! Another lady wrapped her jute around the top part twice so a different look altogether. another lady was having some trouble ( shaky hands) so hers looked like an older hedgehog & turned out soo cute too. A gentleman did his like a work boot & really neat how his looked too. Now I need a nap

I have added the dots now, are't they cute to hide in the garden.

Hope you are getting a nap after your busy class. Glad also that some of the information is sticking in your memory. Once you start to remember does it stick with you or does it again leave you if you have not used the information say for a week or two? Thanks for sharing your classes with us, it is awesome you have this class available. Pam

most of what I learn has come & gone. My short term memory is poor but if I use what I learn I remember it...@ the time anyway. I forget peoples names a lot if they are not from my past. If the instructor tells me what do to I can try to do it & I can remember it but when I come home most of it has already gone. Thats ok I try to move forward not backwards & cuties are super about helping me out

Gee. I thought that was normal for going to a class as an adult. :-)
Keep up the good work.
I am dealing with three adults who are fast loosing their ability to remember the past, never mind the present and none of them have dementia or brain damage.

we can only take it one day @ a time some are better then others & I'll take those ones lol. Be patient & kind in your words & it will make it easier for them

I love these projects and I think you did a super job too. No matter that you short term memory is poor now. You are still a valued Cutie and loved by your friends and family. You keep hanging in there with us. And keep going to your classes. We love seeing what you have made and love knowing that you are a survivor of a surgery that is life changing.
