A girl can never have enough bonnets lol So I have made another reversible one for our new great grand-baby -to-be. I embroidered tiny tulips on the yellow side & left the purple plain. This first picture is how easy they are to make, 0-3 months I used the instructions to make from www.danamadeit.com but reduced the pdf sz by 1 inch. Then you just gather the ribbons to make it fit the sz of the baby's head & it's that easy. On the purple you can see my chalk lines but they wash away. I love that when she wears it yellow side showing then around her face will be purple & then the other way round when she wears the purple side showing. I think she just might need a dress to go with this bonnet lol maybe some booties... I have not done booties before & I am not sure that I could........any help with booties anyone?

It really is & I have this gift (sewing) so it is something that I can share. They are barely getting by now so I can only imagine how tough it will be when she gets here. Anything I can sew to help them out I will. ~hugs~

These bonnets are beautiful. I agree, she will also need a new dress to go with the bonnet

Another beautiful item. Haven't made bootees but thought you might like to make some mittens. My son when a baby and now his daughter want to put their hands in their mouth. Sounds cute but he managed to take the skin off his hands and I ended up having to use mittens when he went to sleep.

a good idea thank you, I will have to find a pattern online for them. I have baby's scratch themselves when their nails get a wee bit long. Mittens would also help with that. ~hugs~
