On the 1st June it was the three year mark since my eldest grandson Joshua had his ghastly motor bike accident. The posts from Cuties around the world helped to keep me sane. There were several occasions when my daughter phoned to say that Joshua was probably going to have his leg amputated. Joshua has now a healed leg, rather scarred but it his own leg. Now it is all over I feel that I can show you a couple of pictures.

I have removed the pictures. I am sorry If I offended anyone.

My Dad always said "Onward and Upward." (An old navy saying.) So glad you have moved through this time of bad news, fear, grief, etc. and hoping Joshua too is getting on with a mostly normal, happy life.

This is a wonderful anniversary to celebrate. I'm sure his life will never be quite the same, but he has a bright future and a wonderful life to look forward too. Prayers do make a difference.

Time has a way of flying. God is Great and God is Good! I'm so thrilled for all involved that the young Joshua has his leg and mobility. I remember praying for the young man during his and your time of need. :)

I remember that horrible tragedy well. We all came together and prayed for Joshua and I remember saying to you that I would pray until he walked on his own to receive his diploma and I did. God is the greatest healer and He certainly touched Joshua and guided his doctors.

I was a terrifying and incredible experience to go through with you, the set backs were hard to take, until the final last surgery and waiting for the best news that all was good. God Bless!
