6/12/15 Woo-hoo. 67 plastic zippers in wide variety of colors at Salvation Army today for ITH tissue holders and shoulder bags, etc. I'm pumped! Still not able to crawl the stairs to my lair to embroider, but knee is on the mend. I can walk okay on level ground and around main floor of house, just no hills or stairs. So hard to be patient when you're not!

You are a better woman than I. I'd be on my bottom bumping up those stairs. And if you take a cardboard box you can open it up and slide down!

Wheeeeeeeeee
I think I'd be afraid of that sudden stop at the bottom! lol
I'm afraid of the two landings and two left turns.

I'm with the others go up and down on the bum, that's how kids are taught! Besides you are just a 'kid' at heart. So glad you are healing. Great addition to your stash! :)

When I had my Achille's Tendon re-attachment 8 years ago I slid down the stairs on my bottom and went back up the same way! It was fun! I used to slide down the banisters at school. Always got into trouble for doing it, I was such a tomboy!!! Girls school too! he he he! So glad to see you are healing. Love Chris

I so got in trouble for teaching a friend how to slide down our bannister. She had pants with a back zipper and it made a scratch ALL the way down the bannister. Even when I was in my fifties, as Mother and I would go up the stairs, she would grab the bannister and say T---- S----- (the girl's name) as we went up. Sooo good at dishing the guilt, she should have gotten a prize.

bummer your machine is on another level. I would have to rig a toboggan on a winch to get there! Lol!

Great find on the zippers. It's amazing what we can find in the thrift stores sometimes when we look. I think if I were you. I would try to get my machine downstairs. Hope the knee is mending well/Lillian

Whoohoo and congrats on the zippers. I had to go up and down stairs sitting down when I was first battling vertigo. I found it pretty easy to do. I do hope you are soon able to manage the stairs.
