My DH and I went to a conference in San Francisco. Here are some views of the SF Bay Bridge and the view from our 32nd floor hotel room. Also me and my DH at the conference we attended.
In picture 4, way off to the right, you can see Alcatraz. Picture 5 shows the Transamerica pyramid and the piers and Ferry Building from the bridge view.
Picture 6 shows the The Marriott Marquis hotel (it looks very art deco) to the right, and a bit of Moscone Center to the left.
We had beautiful weather, didn't even need a sweater. At home the kids were enduring 90 degree heat. Rain on the 3rd day was still warm in the city : )

Thank you for all the complements of California. I was born & raised in the city but now live 20 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge and we seldom venture in. As with all things, it is no longer the city of my birth.

Cool pics alright !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You mentioned below that pic number one was a new edition. When did that part get added? I've always loved the look of that bridge and ALcatraz was one of those places that I've always wanted to visit. I have never been to the US though. One day possibly.

The new section opened in 2013. It was built right next to the old section and it's pretty interesting to drive on it and watch them dismantle the old bridge. Here's a wikipedia link about the bridge,
