I will have to post this stitchout on our refrigerator....it is Jim's first attempt at doing clipart for me........I added the text, not as a slam to him, it just seem to fit the design, LOL!!! So, this is the first and don't know if it is the last of his artwork, but it will be up on my website tonight.....

Jim or the poodle?
Definately the poodle........that's why I called him sub standard poodle as he/she is a little odd...LOL

At first I couldn't figure it out. "Sub Standard" could mean that the poodle is just not exactly a poodle. Or, it could mean that it is not a "standard" poodle meaning not the large size poodle vs the teacup or miniature poodle. The tail is perfect for this dog! Either interpretation works great with this design! That's what I love most about your work...I almost always have to think about the designs. Jim did good!

Penny, at first it was because he was undersized, so sub to me in this case ment under, then as I looked at him his whole demeanor screamed "less than a standard", which the sub title fit as well..........he certainly isn't going to get a blue ribbon, but that is what makes him loveable....
