Here is my Quilted Snap-Flex Bag done totally in the hoop, fully lined, with no raw edges inside. Seeing Noah's (Carolyn's) bag done with the measuring tape pieces using a sewing machine made me go back to one I had done several years ago...and really forgotten about...I revised it to add a double stitching of the satin ball trim across the casing...lots of flexibility with this bag for added design elements...and I added the boxed corner on one...just for fun!

These are darling. I have been on you tube several times and each designer is different. Question: When you put the tape measure in, does the numbers got to front facing out or do they go inside facing lining. Each person I watched went a different way. I have taken one apart 4 times and none of the times did it close completely,?

Hi lilylady...the measuring tape must be metal...and curved...and the numbers go to the inside...so on both sides of the bag, the numbers face inside toward the lining of the bag...I hope this helps..if you still have questions, send me a PM and I will s
