CUTIES I'M PLEADING FOR OUR PRAYER WARRIORS TO PRAY THEIR HEARTS OUT.
Amy's best friend Natalie - who we've known since she was 6 years old (turned 33 on 13th May) has had a massive Brain Aneurysm this morning. She has had brain surgery this afternoon for 5 hours and is in Intensive care down in Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney. We are praying like mad that there is no damage eg. stroke, paralysis etc.
As you can imagine Amy is beside herself as are Natalie's mother, brothers and sisters in law. Unfortunately her Father (mum and dad are divorced) is overseas and won't be aware of it as yet. In my
previous post we were up with them at Nelson Bay today to have lunch and collect the girls and come back home to collect Maisie. They were up there on a whale watching/dolphin cruise. Steve got a call about it, but didn't want Amy to worry till they got to shore - so you can imagine our afternoon. We then went back to their resort and they packed up and came home - we collected Maisie and she is asleep at my feet as I write this. Ophelie is down in our bed with Trevor and Delphi is in the portacot. I will sleep in the spare bed with Maisie as I don't want her to wimper.
I appreciate all your prayers and know they will be heard. God bless you all, love Chris
This is Natalaie with the bright blue eyes and our Amy on the right. Friends forever.
UPDATE - 11.15 MONDAY MORNING 22ND JUNE
I've just heard from Amy - Natalie moved her right hand side, waved with her right hand and sat up. Her left side is still weak. Amy said her face reminded her of her old boyfriend who had cranial surgery and was in an induced coma for days. It's black and blue. The nurses were asking her to wake up and she opened one eye. Natalie is still not aware of what has happened. Marvellous how the brain works. They are just telling her that she is in hospital. Amy was in tears and I told her all will be well as I had lots and lots of ladies around the world praying for her. THANKYOU I cannot express how deep my gratitude is. Love Chris
I really pray everything will go well for this young lady. Hugs Lynn

Thank Goodness!! I hope all goes well Chris. I'll be thinking of you and yours. xx
This is from Amy's phone late this afternoon and I quote -
"Nat had a pretty unsettled night woken for hourly obs etc. and was really exhausted this morning after a big day of visitors etc. It appeared she'd taken a few steps back. But then saw her again around lunchtime and she actually woke up opened her eyes saw me touched my face and said "Oh! you are here..... I asked if she knew who I was and she said of course you're Amy. It was really comforting I gave her a kiss and she tried to reach up and cuddle me. We had a little laugh and joke - she was saying some stuff that was a bit "la la" land but overall positive. The Doctor's are saying she needs some quiet time now and just immediate family. She is having an Angiogram on Thursday and will be under more close obs - waiting to hear on how she goes over the next few days. I've asked Julie (Nat's mum) her thoughts on the 'girls' visiting on Friday and at this point she has asked that we hold off. I'm sorry I know we all want to see her and show support and love, but she is still in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) and will be for at least 2 weeks. Merrin, Nat's sister in law will keep me informed, so I will keep you guys informed too. XXXX Love Amy"
Amy is going back down to Sydney on Thursday and has asked me to come too. I'm regarded as 'close' family, so I hope I will be able to see her. I'll just have to wait and see. If not, then at least I'll be company for Amy. Please keep praying for daily/nightly or whenever you think of it. Love to you all, Chris
thinking of you and yours
