If you make a cushion cover out of outdoor fabric what kind of outdoor thing do you use to make the inside of the cushion? I have bought some really pretty outdoor fabric to make a lovely cushion for on the deck chair but I forgot to ask about the inside part?

I also am making garden flags using outdoor fabric. I am wondering if Scotch guard would help.

I think it would be an added protection but wonder if you have to have it if the fabric is "outdoor" fabric? A confusing thing this is
Garden Flags are usually made with rip stop nylon" and a close satin stitch. Rip stop comes in a wide variety of colors. This way it takes a log time to fade and even longer to ear out and tear.

I was able to discover that Wal~Mart in the U S A has this Pellon Outdoor Foam Pad 14x14x1 so not very thick for a pillow but ok for a seat cushion. Price $5.44 & JoAnn's has a 4 pack for $28.04 & theirs is a 2inch pad so 14x14x2" so I guess it depends on what your looking for size wise. Check your phone directory or ask around for a nearby company that works on boat covers, tops & upholstery. They usually sell the foam that is the best to use, or can order it for you. You can also buy great canvas there too.
