I am wondering if anyone here has any experience with the Clover fabric folding pens? I have been seeing them used for lots of creative embroidery projects. do I have to have one? What is in the liquid? Can I make something myself?

Well, I have one...but I haven't used it yet...Martha Pullen swears by them though....sorry I am not really an help at all...

I think that for $17.00 it is something that I can live without.

I've seen them for $12-17.00 I can do without that price also. I'll use a little steam from my iron or spray starch and spend the savings on designs

I had to look it up to see what it was. I think it'd be a hassle to use, and it can't be used on everything.
