EDIT-Shoes added-An outfit I made for grand daughters birthday next month. The first two pics show front and back of dress, stripped different order. Third shows the side seam, where the stripping makes a gore look, because the side is cut of course, at an angle. Fourth pic is the Victor font, reduced big time, but I just used this on her cap and liked it. Lastly, I'm sorry to say, I don't know where the No Spanking sign came from. It had a few skips in the circle but she will NEVER be still enough to notice when it's on-lol-I hope to surprise her mom with this one. Oh, and the dress is cut and pieced, from 6 different fat quarters and main fabric. I may make her some shoes to match. You think?-Toogie

Thanks Bev. It was another of those packs of fat quarters, like I used on the back packs, for $5. It actually had 8 pieces in it, but I didn't need to use two of them, and only parts of these 6. I have enough that I am making her shoes and I can make bags out of the rest or something.

Celine, my oldest grand-daughter didn't want dresses after the age of 6, I stopped smocking and pretty much stopped sewing, for her. These last 2 girls I will be able to sew all I want. Thank you for looking.-Toogie

Thank you, dad saw it today and he thought the fabric came like that. I showed him my serged seams and told him it was 31/4 inch strips, sewed together. He liked them,too.

Love them!!! I wish you were my Grandma!!! My Mom made clothes for us, but back then she didn't have the embroidery machines we have today. She loved for me to embroider sweatshirts for her. I miss Her and the cool designs she picked out!!!

Kathy, I wish I had had my embroidery machine, before my mom died. She would have loved it and what it could do. She wouldn't have been able to hoop a project, due to her having a car accident that left one hand and arm messed up, but she would have enjoyed watching it stitch out. Got the shoes done, well almost. I have to sew the flowers on, they are just pinned on here. I think I need to redo one. It doesn't lie as flat and open as the other, if you look.

Got the shoes done and just added the photos. Dad said mom spanked her last night, for trying to stand up in the shopping cart. (I think this was just a swat on the leg) which she needed, better than falling out.

Just love all the little outfits you make--your machine must run 24/7. Right now I just can't get motivated--weeds are growing faster than I can keep up with. Too much rain and hot humid weather wears you out!! I love seeing all the little dresses and accessories you make.
