This quilt is called "Everything's Coming Up Roses" which I found on the internet. It's foundation pieced and I chose to put a simple embroidered rose in the center.
I always love the raggy shaggy look and it saves on the cost of professional quilting. A nice change for me!!!

Love the quilt. The multi layers for the shaggy makes it look really nice. The addition of the rose in the center blocks ties it all together so well.

This is beautiful, I love it. What kind of fabric did you use? I am partial to flannel for rags quilts and have never tried anything else.

I used cotton on to and bottom with darker pink flannel in the middle!!!

I love rag quilts and this one is beautiful and so different from the simple ones I do. How did you layer it, what kind of fabric? I usually use flannel.

Yes flannel under cotton and three layers total. I tried to make the seam a little wider for more fluff!!!

This is such a lovely combination of colours and technique. The addition of the embroidered rose in the more complex blocks is a nice finishing touch.
