I had not thought of a teaching tool. Perhaps you are on to something. The mat could have a large circle in the middle for the plate and the placement of knife, blade facing the plate, and spoon on the right and the fork and salad fork on outside on the left. Digitizers get busy! i just realize that I don't a hoop that big!!!! maybe do it in a smaller version where the plate covers it all. Kay
