Recycle-I found this tee-shirt, at a thrift store, a friend of mine helps run. She has always said I never look at things as they are, but what they could be. I told her I saw a bag with this tee. She told me when I got it done, she wanted to see. I wonder what she'll say-lol-The shape reminds me of those feeding bags, that was hung from the horse, or was that just in the movies? Then the back 'pocket' I made, to look like the neck scarves, on the horses.The strap is adjustable, so could be crossbody, or less. The inside pockets are four, two on each side. I had also found a blue check shirt to line it with, but thought the red check left from Caleb's quilt, would give it some pop. The back and straps are recycled, from a fully gathered skirt, of a dress.The only embroidery is my name. The tee-shirt after I washed it, and before the recycle. Hope you enjoy looking-Toogie-EDITED Monday morning- Well my friend was very impressed, exclaiming 'how precious' and 'you've got talent girl', her words I am just repeating. I just say I have a good machine. I don't know about you, but sometimes when I am sewing or embroidering, I think about how ladies used to do any sewing, needle work by hand. I still love and appreciate anything hand worked, but I also appreciate the modern machines. You can accomplish so much more in a lifetime! I also appreciate each and everyone who has looked and commented on this. I am speechless (now I know that is hard for some to believe of me-lol) over all the positive remarks. I am overwhelmed with emotion, from reading all the comments here. I'm really not that smart, you give me too much credit, I just like bags!
