Hi Cuties, we had a great time away in Canberra and meeting up with my sister in Yass. We took Mum with us so she could stay with Julie.

Julie actually lives in Tumby Bay, South Australia which is 1,568kms away from Yass. It took Jewls and Charles 2 days to drive to Holbrook. We only had morning tea with her and then we left to go to Canberra which is only about an hour and a quarter to where my BIL and SIL live.

Mum and Jewls then drove to Holbrook (about 220kms away) where Jewls and her partner Charles have a holiday home (they have an Ultra lite plane and a hangar attached to their home).

Whilst we were in Canberra we caught up with all the family and visited some great tourist places.

Missed putting up my pussy cat piccies, but I'M BACK!!!!!!!!! Love Chris

Thanks Miss Lillian, can you believe that Trev's Mum is nearly 89 - her skin is amazing? Love Chris

It was certainly worth the distance you all had to travel to be together even if it was too short a time. I'm glad you had a great trip with plenty of good times and now are home safely. I did miss your cat pictures, but was happy you were having a good time with family.

Thanks Karen, it's such a pity that we all live so far away from each other. Australia like the USA is a huge country. Love Chris

This 89 looks great! No saggy skin or turkey neck! She could pass for their sister! Speaking of sister, yours has your moms look, favors her tremendously Love 'meeting' your family, even if only in photos.... Could Charles have flown to pick mom up? How long will she be with them?

Hi Toogie, yes Trev's mum is amazing. She's been a widow for 16 years now and is just starting to need some help. It must be the wonderful crisp Canberra air that keeps her looking so good. Charles is 80 himself and couldn't have flown up to Yass. With their ultra-lite they only have a certain area you are allowed to fly in. Mum was only with Julie and Charles for the same amount of time we were with Trev's family - 4 days! I always heard that you should only ever stay with family for about that time!!!!!!!!!!!! he he he! We don't want to wear our welcome out, do we? Love Chris
