I finished the quilt for my Kuwaiti grand son who is now 5... I had been working on it last year and had finished the top but could NOT find batting so I had to bring some with me from the states when I went last Christmas LOL

The picture shows him in his racing suit but with his Dad's RC car in the desert where his Dad and others run their RC cars.

This quilt was meant to use on the floor and for his many many cars. Blue strips are the roads that lead to Majed's Mall, Food store, Funland, Cinema, Hamburger joint, pizza joint, ice cream store and the Garage.

My sister told me to add his name at the top and I'm glad she did, I love it.

I made a very simple pillow that closes with Velcro and in each corner I did a large M in top stitching.

I'll be going to Kuwait to celebrate the Ramadan Eid with my son and family so I can give the quilt to my Grand son.
