Love these guys, they are the new free ones at tavernmaker. I used 2 layers of vilene and a 100% cotton thread, they are very pretty and may still be wet. I couldn't wait to show them. Get yours,they sewed perfectly

Is the center of the butterfly stitched separately and then attached to the wings?

it will sew the wings first then stop, you can then change colors for the body or just continue, it is all one piece
