Can anyone tell me if a design uses 13567 stitches how much thread will it use? I want to sew a design with this many stitches but I am not sure there is enough thread on a small spool so I wonder how do I figure this out?

Google:
How many stitches on a spool of embroidery thread. You will get a few choices. I am just not sure if I can post the links..

One cone 5500 yards equals 1,000,000 stitches
One spool 1,100 yards equals 200,000 stitches.
Hope this helps.

wow yes indeed that is good to know Lynn thank you
what about the small spools do you know that one?
220 yards spool, 40,000 stitches.
Maybe this could depend on the length of the stitches. But guess it is a bit of a guide
it's ok I have no patience & I went ahead & did it anyway lol but thank you all for helping me try to figure this out.
Thank you for this info, it is good to know. *4all
if I would have waited this information tells me ahead of time that I would indeed have run out............Thank you Lynn very much

Even a small 200m/220yard spool would sew about 14 or 15 of designs with that many stitches, but it is an average - if you have a narrow or a wide satin stitch column the number of stitches would be the same, but a 3/16" one would take three times as much thread as a 1/16" one.

that is very true & something to consider thank you Martine. ~hugs~

My problem is knowing just how much thread is left of a spool. Decided it was too much bookkeeping to keep track of it.

lol I can see where that would be a tedious task

Some digitizers actually have programs that tell you how much thread each block in the design uses.It usually shows up in the colour change chart of a design but I can't remember which digitizers use it.

that would be a very good thing
