Aww, but look at that face! I currently have two female (sisters) mini Schnauzers that are 2 years old. My husband brought them home after our male mini Schnauzer passed away at age 15. In my opinion, they are the best but, they do not like to be left alone, especially while puppies. Schnauzers must also be trained early in obedience as they are quite headstrong. I have always groomed my Schnauzers as it is a wonderful way to bond and spend special time together. Perhaps Juno was just fluffing the cushion and got carried away, lol. I have some sandals that my girls decided to "decorate" when they were puppies :)

Thank you Nancy for your post. Juno has been to puppy classes and is relatively well behaved but when left alone she is a destroyer.

Charlotte has already hinted that I should make some. Unfortunately it is not just the one chair. Juno has ruined the whole set in one go.

Well, you wouldn't want an "un"matched set?!

I wonder if Kevlar is puppy proof. Lol! Toughest fabric on the market. She looks very sweet and guilty.

oh my!. I had a puppy once that liked fine leather. She took delight in ruining nice pairs of shoes. I always was careful to close my closet door before leaving for work and one day by mistake, closed her up all day in my closet to enjoy my shoes. Let's just say I cried. Kay

Juno is the smartest dog I've see in a long time.. I mean come on how many dogs would write you a note admitting what they have done. lol Hopefully she will out grow this soon, is there such a thing as Puppy Proof material?

I am sorry for the cushion, but this picture made me laugh out loud. She looks so innocent. Isn't it amazing how they know that they did something wrong. Still laughing.

My daughter is on her 2nd generation of Schnauzers been having them for over 30 Yrs and I couldn't begin to tell all they have destroyed thru the yrs , still they won't have anything but.. I do remember before they had their children an Old English Sheep dog named Winston, I believe I prefer the Schnauzers also. Lol /Lillian

That's so funny. Can't wait to see your chair cushions posted in the projects section. Maybe you can embroider a BIG cat on the seat to scare her away. :)

What a mess! Still, you gotta love her! I had to reupholster my new couch cushion when leaving my Schnauzer, Max, alone for the first time. Thank goodness it was new so the furniture company still had the fabric to match. THEN, I had to take Max to the vet because he could no eliminate the foam he ate! It was the only time he did that!
