Went into see my Auntie at the nursing home yesterday for her 99th birthday. We had a lovely party with some her children and Great Grand Children. Here she is cutting her cake with her 2 eldest children. I gave her a bunch of Flowers and one of those toilet rolls with the 'Frog Butt Why Per' cover on it. She has a great sense of humour and I knew she would like it.She was tickled with it and kept saying "It is the funniest thing that has happened around here in a long time" After some time in the lounge with us all she wished to go back to her room. We went to say good bye before we left and she was fiddling with a photo in a paper folder. We were told she was doing what she calls 'Playing silly buggers' ???? She is such a darling and the only Auntie I have now.

I have added a picture of the resin dog that was sitting behind Auntie. It looks so real and is the size of a real dog. Hubby was telling me this morning that she had dropped some food on the floor and her son Peter said 'Don't worry the dog behind you will eat it" She said what dog? He said the one sitting behind you. Her reply was, 'If the Lord had given me eyes in the back of my head I may be able to see it"
