I am up to date with my mystery project from San Francisco Stitch Co. I have decided to make mine look like a scrapbook page, The photo corners to hold all my postcards in place. What do you think? Does it look OK so far?

I have only completed the first block. However, I have been lucky enough to download all the designs so far.

Thankfully I have them loaded and found out about this site--love them. Your blocks are fantastic--I am not that artistic in my thinking and was wondering what to do with them WHEN I stitch them. What kind of stabilizer did you use and how many layers??? You have NO puckers at all.

Add them to pillows, make placemats, put on a tshirt or jacket...

I used 2 layers of medium weight tear away stabilizer.

How about a 'One Way Arrow' or other road sign to balance the square?
Seems to me the current scrapbooks have odd decorative pieces added. I do like your stitch-outs. Nicely done and the blue sky is perfect. I picked up the London 2013 set. I hope I do as well.

Yes, I agree. I would like to find some charms to embellish it with here and there. Kind of like souvenirs I've picked up along the way. I like your idea of the arrow too. I am going to keep that in mind. Thanks for the suggestion. hugs, Susan

Looks great to me. i like the suggestion ofevilsoft, to make a sort of arrow sign of it. Start with the Road trip and then all the cities that you would cross , like driving in a car from one city to an other..

Yes, I liked that idea too. Waiting to see what the next 2 weeks are to see if I can incorporate it somehow.

Creative concept using the stitched out designs. I have them downloaded but can't stitch them because they are for 5x7 hoops. I love seeing the finished products posted by Cute Embroidery members. Using two layers of medium weight tear away has worked great for you because as peafarm noted below, your designs have no puckers! They look very professional ;)
