Thought I would share this with you since I have had so many compliments on it. I made it with coffee filters and a hot glue gun. The flower measures about 24 inches across.

Well it was quite easy. I started with a large cardboard circle. Then I hot glued coffee filters to the outside edge over aping each filter a little bit. I just kept over lapping and working in spiral fashion to the center. The very center is 5 coffee filters twisted together to form a flower blossom. Then I glued that blossom to the center. I punched 2 holes in the back side and threaded a pipe cleaner through to use as a hanger. Just over lap and stagger each filter as you glue them in place. Hope this makes sense and helps you Carolyn.
Forgot to mention flatten the filters before gluing.
