It was my youngest Grand Daughter's 18th Birthday yesterday and we went to the Casino for a Buffet Lunch. Picture shows myself, Sienna and her boyfriend Jackson.

Many thanks. Yes we had a lovely day with family and friends. We gave her a sterling silver necklace with a small pearl in the centre, also a lovely ring which she put on her finger straight away and left it there. She loved them both. It is hard buying for the young ones so made me feel very pleased she liked them.

Shirley you are fortunate that she wanted to celebrate with you. At that age, sometimes they want to be with friends more, even though they love you they think it is 'uncool'. Nice photo of you and she is such a pretty girl. Happy 18th Birthday, Sienna!

Thanks Toogie. She had been out celebrating the night before with her friends, and did not get home till 4 in the morning. She was feeling a little tired at lunch and was going back home to have a sleep. It was back to school here for her today. Hope she does not dose off in class.

Thanks. Yes you can here in Australia. She had a go on the poker machine before we left, but did not win anything. Most likely a good thing as she may decide it is not worth wasting her money there again.

Great shot of you all Shirley. Did you do the beautiful embroidery on your top? Your grand-daughter is very pretty and her boyfriend very handsome. So glad you got to spend it with her. As Carolyn has stated most teenagers don't want to be with their grandparents so it was extra special for you to be all together. Love Chris

Yes Chris, I made and embroidered the top a long time ago. Keep it for special occasions. lol She is a pretty girl. It was the 1st time we had met her boy friend. He seems quite nice. It was really nice to be able to share her special day. Hugs Shirley
