Wednesday night-We just got back from the hospital. Our patient is doing so well, she may be discharged home tomorrow! They got her up in her chair today and gave her the first feeding about 4 pm. Bladder and bowel working normal again. She has a lot of gas pains, as can be imagined. She has 5 incisions circling out around her stomach area. Did it laproscopic, but Dr said it still was a major surgery. He gave mom an 8x10 photo, with 4 different veiws of Avery's insides, and exactly what was done. Mom asked if there was anything he saw that we may need to be concerned about and he said no, liver, etc.all looked fine. All this is good to hear, thank the good Lord. Let you know when she's home.-T--------Wednesday morn Update-I thought you may want to 'see for yourself'. These photos were taken yesterday, first right after coming from recovery and second some time later, more awake.Avery's doing well, now.I came home and tried to update last night, but net was so s-l-o-w, I finally just gave up and went to bed. I must have died when I went to sleep, because I never heard my phone. Daughter had shot a text/photos after we left. Avery broke out in a full body rash, said it was a reaction to antibiotic they put her on. It has cleared up now but took several doses of benadryl. She couldn't use the bathroom and was so uncomfortable they had to put a catheter to relieve her. :( After that she rested fairly well. Grayson's mom is on her way here, to bring me Nora so will keep you updated, but things should go well with Avery today.Thank you for continued prayer of healing.-T--------Update Tues afternoon- Avery is in recovery- surgery went well- may send her to PICU first only because of her being special needs-Dr said keeping her in recovery until awake good- we laughed because she doesn't like to be woke up-😉 Will keep updating-Avery's surgery just started-it should be about 2 hours- will Update
